Wellness Plans lets clinics create and manage care memberships for individual pets.

A wellness plan can bundle services, included visits, or discounts into a recurring membership that pet parents can subscribe to monthly, annually, or on another billing cycle defined by the clinic.

It gives clinics a simple way to build ongoing care around the pet, while giving pet families a clearer and more predictable way to access care.

Create a wellness plan

From Wellness Plans, an admin or authorised team member can create a membership plan.

Each plan includes:

• Plan name

• Description

• Billing cycle

• Price

• Included services

• Discounts or benefits

Add services

Services from your clinic's Services catalogue can be added to a wellness plan.

For each service, you can define how the benefit works.

For example:

You can also apply a discount instead of making a service fully included.

For example:

• 100% — included at no additional charge

• 20% — pet receives 20% off

• 0% — no membership benefit

This allows each plan to be structured around the type of care the clinic wants to offer.

Manage your plans

Once a plan has been created, it appears in the Wellness Plans dashboard.

From there, the clinic can:

• View plans

• Edit plans

• Duplicate plans

• View active subscriptions

• View recent subscriptions

• Enrol a pet

• Send a payment link

Duplicating a plan makes it easy to create variations without starting from scratch.

For example, a clinic could create Basic, Plus, and Senior versions of the same care membership.

Enrol a pet

Wellness Plans are pet-specific.

A membership belongs to one pet, rather than automatically applying to every pet belonging to a pet parent.

To enrol a pet, select Enrol Patient and search for the relevant pet.

Choose the plan and define its start date.

Each enrolled pet has:

• Plan

• Start date

• Expiration date

• Membership status

• Included services

• Remaining benefits

The clinic can also enrol a pet directly from the pet's profile.

Wellness plan on the pet profile

Once a pet is enrolled, the active wellness plan appears on their profile.

For example, if Mushi is enrolled in a wellness plan, the veterinary team can immediately see that Mushi has an active membership and what it includes.

This means the team doesn't need to search through separate records to understand what care the pet is entitled to.

Applying benefits to a Case

Wellness Plans connect directly with Cases.

When the clinic adds services to the Costs section of a case, smollOS checks whether those services are included in the pet's active wellness plan.

If there is a matching benefit, smollOS applies the membership benefit automatically.

For example:

Consultation
Regular price: AED 150
Wellness benefit: 100% included
Amount due: AED 0

Or:

Dental cleaning
Regular price: AED 500
Wellness benefit: 20% off
Amount due: AED 400

The clinic doesn't need to manually calculate the discount each time.

Track remaining benefits

As included services are used, the pet's wellness plan keeps track of the remaining allowance.

For example:

Annual Wellness Plan

• Vaccination — 1 of 1 used

• Consultation — 1 of 2 used

• Nail trim — 2 of 4 used

This gives the veterinary team a clear view of what has already been used and what remains available.

Subscriptions & payments

The Wellness Plans dashboard also shows recent subscriptions.

When a pet parent wants to subscribe, the clinic can send them a payment link.

Once the subscription is completed, the plan can be associated with the relevant pet and its benefits become available according to the plan's start date.
