Settings
Settings is the control centre for your clinic in smollOS.
This is where you manage your clinic profile, working hours, localisation, appearance, security, notifications, connections, and system access.
General
General contains the core information and operating settings for your clinic.
Clinic profile
Keep your clinic information up to date:
Logo
Clinic name
Contact email
Phone number
Address
Website
Time zone
This information can also be used throughout smollOS where clinic details are required.
Working hours
Set the hours your clinic operates.
You can configure different opening and closing times for each day, including multiple time periods within the same day.
For example, a clinic can be open in the morning, closed for a few hours, and then reopen later in the day.
You can also deactivate an entire day when the clinic is closed or observing a holiday.
Desk Tools
Desk Tools gives your team a couple of lightweight tools for working directly inside smollOS.
Sticky Note
Sticky Note is a floating, draggable note that stays visible on the screen.
Use it for quick reminders, temporary notes, or anything you need to keep in front of you while working.
Screen Pen
Screen Pen lets you annotate directly on the screen.
Select the pen and draw or mark up what's on screen using different colours.
You can clear the annotations whenever you're done.
Both Sticky Note and Screen Pen can be activated or deactivated from Settings.
Localization
Localization controls the language and currency used by your clinic.
Currency
Your clinic's currency is set during onboarding based on the country where the clinic is registered.
This becomes the default currency used throughout smollOS.
Language
Users can switch the system language based on the languages available for your clinic.
For example:
English
Arabic
Spanish
Romanian
Language availability may vary by localisation.
Appearance
Choose how smollOS looks on your screen.
Available modes include:
Light
Dark
Gym Mode
Gym Mode provides a more expressive, playful visual mode for teams that want something different from the standard interface.
Security
Security shows the devices that have accessed your clinic's smollOS account.
Each authorised session provides a record of the device that has accessed the system.
If a staff member leaves the clinic or a device should no longer have access, an admin can revoke access from here.
This gives clinic admins a simple way to keep control of active system access.
Notifications
Notifications controls which clinic events trigger notifications.
Email notifications
You can enable notifications for events such as:
New appointment
New triage submission
Payment received
Patient discharge
SMS notifications
SMS notifications can be sent to the clinic's configured SMS number for important events, including:
New appointment
New triage submission
Payment received
Connections
Connections is where the clinic connects the external services used by smollOS.
Scribe Connect
Connect your Scribe account to enable the Scribe integration.
The connection needs to remain active for the clinic to continue receiving the relevant Scribe functionality and associated payments.
Google Meet
Connect your Google account to enable Google Meet for consultations.
This allows smollOS to create meeting links for both paid and free video consultations.
Connect the clinic's WhatsApp account through the associated Meta account.
This connection enables WhatsApp-based communication and workflows across smollOS, including booking, triage, updates, and other clinic conversations.
Users
Users are the people who can actually access smollOS.
This is different from Staff.
A staff member is an employee or team member recorded in the clinic. A user is a staff member who has been given access to the system.
In other words:
Every User needs to be a Staff member.
Not every Staff member needs to be a User.
Add a User
Admins can create a user and define what they are allowed to access.
A user profile includes:
Name
Label
Role
System permissions
Permissions can be assigned by area.
For example, a veterinarian may need access to:
Cases
Calendar
Clients
At-home services
Triage
An HR user may need access to:
Staff
Payroll information
Relevant administrative areas
An admin can be given access to everything.
Manage access
Admins can update a user's role or permissions at any time.
They can also remove access when someone no longer needs to use the system.
This keeps system access separate from the staff record itself, giving the clinic control over who can actually use smollOS.
One place to run the clinic
Settings brings the clinic's configuration into one place.
