Inventory
Inventory is where your clinic keeps track of everything physical it uses or sells.
From medications and consumables to syringes, blades, food, and other supplies, Inventory gives your team one place to know what you have, how much you have, what it costs, and what needs attention.
Your inventory at a glance
Each inventory item includes the information your team needs to manage stock.
You can see:
Item name
Category
SKU
Quantity
Cost
VAT
Stock status
Expiry date
Species

Description
Items can be associated with one or more species, such as dogs, cats, or other species supported by your clinic.
Stock status
smollOS keeps track of the quantity available for each item and makes it easy to identify items that are running low or are no longer in stock.
This gives your team a quick view of what needs attention without having to manually check every item.
Add an item
Adding an item is straightforward.
Select Add Item and enter the relevant information:
Item name
Description
Category
SKU
Quantity
Cost
VAT
Expiry date
Species

You can also decide whether the item should be available for sale through smollPage.
Sell it on smollPage
If an item is something your clinic sells to pet families, simply enable Available on smollPage.
That's it.
There is no separate product catalogue to maintain. The information already stored in Inventory — including the image, description, price, and other relevant details — can be used by the storefront.
This means your internal inventory and storefront stay connected without creating the same product twice.
Bulk import
If your clinic already has a large inventory, you don't need to enter everything manually.
Use Bulk Import to upload an existing inventory file.
Supported formats:
CSV
Excel
PDF
Maximum file size: 10 MB
Upload your file and smollOS will extract the inventory information for review before adding it to your system.
Review before importing
Before anything is added, smollOS gives you the opportunity to review the extracted data.
You can identify:
Duplicate items
Missing information
Incorrect or incomplete entries
Items that need to be reviewed
Once everything looks right, you can import the inventory into smollOS.
Vendors
The Vendors section keeps track of who supplies your inventory.
For each vendor, you can store information such as:
Company name
Contact person
Email
Phone
Address
Notes
You can also associate inventory items with the vendors that supply them.
Reordering
When you need more of an item, open the relevant vendor and use their contact information to get in touch.
For example, if a medication is supplied by a particular vendor, your team can quickly find that supplier and contact them to request a new order.
One item. One source of truth.
Inventory is designed to keep physical products connected across smollOS.
