The In Clinic and At Home sections let pet families book veterinary services directly through your smollPage.

Both are configured by the clinic inside smollOS, while the pet parent sees a simple booking experience on the public page.

In Clinic

The In Clinic section is where pet parents can book appointments at your clinic.

You can switch the section on or off depending on whether you want to accept online bookings.

When enabled, pet parents can select the service they need, choose an available date and time, and complete the booking.

The available services are pulled from your clinic's configured services in smollOS.

Booking deposit

Your clinic can optionally require a deposit before an appointment is confirmed.

A deposit can help reduce no-shows by asking the pet parent to make a payment when booking.

You can configure whether a deposit is required and the amount associated with the booking.

Scheduling rules

Scheduling Rules determine when pet parents can book online.

You can configure things such as:

• Available days

• Available hours

• Appointment slot duration

• Advance booking window

• How far into the future appointments can be booked

• Other scheduling restrictions

For example, you can allow pet parents to book up to 60 days in advance while limiting online appointments to specific days and hours.

Block dates

Use Block Dates when you don't want online bookings to be available on specific dates.

This can be useful for:

• Public holidays

• Clinic closures

• Staff holidays

• Special events

• Other unavailable dates

Terms & Conditions

You can add booking terms and conditions that pet parents must agree to during the booking process.

Confirmation message

You can also configure the message shown to the pet parent after an appointment has been successfully booked.

At Home

The At Home section works in a similar way to In Clinic, but is designed for veterinary services delivered at the pet parent's location.

You can switch At Home on or off independently.

The services available for At Home bookings are pulled directly from your clinic's configured services.

Minimum order

Because an At Home visit requires a veterinary team member to travel to the pet, your clinic can set a minimum order value.

The minimum order determines the minimum amount a pet parent needs to book before an At Home visit can be requested.

Travel fees

Your clinic can configure travel fees based on where the pet is located.

Different areas can have different fees, and you can also configure conditions where the travel fee is waived.

Delivery areas

At Home availability can be configured by location.

You can define the areas your clinic serves and configure the applicable travel fee for each area.

This can be organised by country, city, and area depending on your clinic's setup.

When a pet parent enters their location, smollOS uses your configured service areas to determine whether an At Home visit is available and what travel fee applies.

Scheduling

At Home visits have their own scheduling rules.

You can configure available days, hours, appointment duration, and advance booking rules specifically for home visits.

This means your At Home availability doesn't have to match your In Clinic availability.

Terms & Conditions

You can add specific terms and conditions for At Home services.

Confirmation message

Configure the confirmation message the pet parent receives after successfully requesting or booking an At Home visit.
